I can’t believe I’ve been without the internet for about a day and a half (laptop). Working from my phone just doesn’t cut it.
Seriously folks, I thought I’d have to check myself into the nearest Mental Institute. I swear I started rocking to and fro. Am I the only one (or one of a few) who feels like it’s the end of the world with no internet access?
How on earth did we cope without the internet, before it became so dominant in our lives?!
Thankfully, it’s up and running now, but I’m playing catch up.
I hear you, Persia, and those days do happen, and I don’t have a phone to take up the slack. But we survive.

I would have been frothing at the mouth if I didn’t have my phone. Pretty sad, uh?

I’m just glad it’s back! And I’m having a pint of Guinness to help me get over the shock! 😀

You’re not the only one. I never think of the internet until it goes down and then my cries of dismay can be heard all over the house & I start frantically calling the company to ask them to fix it, like, yesterday because I NEED IT!! Haha

Aaah, it’s a normal reaction then! Glad I’m not the only one. Thanks for clarifying that. Lol!

What would have happened if we went back to the mid 90´s and there wasn´t a cell phone and only the old pay phones( I miss those)…..you´d probably jump off the nearest balcony you could find.

I hang my head in shame, whilst admitting that how I felt, was indeed, that deep… I remember those payphones!

I cannot even cook without it. I have become dependent on ingredient searches!

My wireless gets testy quite often, and it only seems to be when i need to download / install updates or do something important. Ours went out yesterday when I was attempting to download Chrome because WP refuses to recognize my up-to-date Internet Explorer, and I haven’t been able to view my reader in months. So this morning I found it was back on, so I downloaded Chrome and look….. I can see my reader now, and this is my first comment 🙂
For me, the internet picks up slack for being hard-of-hearing. I get to connect with other survivors, and talk to you, since you are across the pond 🙂

I’m across the pond, but for how long, who knows? Love you lots. xoxo
