Stray Cat Update

So, the stray cat I was trying to feed has put on a lot of weight! And it has nothing to do with me as I couldn’t get to it. I’m just grateful someone managed to get to him/her before it starved to death.

However, I have come across this tortoiseshell beauty! She has a lovely temperament, and purrs whenever I pet her. She also sits on my lap and talks to me. 🙂

Every morning, she waits on the door step for me so we can have a little bonding time. Afterwards, I feed her. She loves turkey slices, so I make sure I purchase some for her.

Then we bond some more. Play. Talk. Chill.

I want to keep her! ❤

I’m so tempted to take her to the vets to see whether or not she has a microchip…

Not sure… should I give her a name? Or could I possibly be setting myself up for disappointment as she may belong to someone? After my last two babies (cats) were euthanised out of spite, she’s the first cat that’s made me think I’m ready to bring another one home.

Any suggestions? :/

That Hurt!

I was doing my usual thing – I saw a stray cat, so ran out to feed it. The next thing I know, another three joined in. I don’t mind feeding four cats at all. I will feed as many as I can find to make sure they don’t go hungry.

One of them decided I had to hand feed it, which I did. So friendly, So cute.

Another one thought it would be a good idea to eat the food, then scratch the shit out of me!

I bled and it hurt like hell. I cleaned it up and am ready for another round. I will feed you damn it! 😀

I’ve noticed a very skinny and shabby looking ginger and white cat, who I’ve been trying to befriend to feed it. It’s breaking my heart seeing the state s/he is in.

I bought food for it, but gets very scared when I approach it, and runs off. Other stray cats end up getting fed instead, which I of course don’t mind. I believe no human nor animal should go hungry.

This cat needs to realise I’m not going to give up that easily! I will continue to bring food to it every time s/he passes my way. I cannot watch it starve to death. Who knows? Maybe one day it will realise I’m trying to help, not harm.

If no luck within the next few days or so, I will have to call a no-kill shelter to help.
