Sweet Dreams

This is my heart, innocently sleeping with his bear he refuses to part with. How cute?! Max drags it all over the place, so the bear is dirty and smells awful. So much so, that no matter how many times it’s washed, it still looks dirty!

I get to see this every day and I wouldn’t change it for the world. None of my hardships are due to my son and I would never, nor will I ever blame him for anything that has happened.

Sweet dreams my precious. I’ll be here when you wake to tell you that I love you again for the hundredth time or so for the day, and watch as you roll your eyes with a look on your face, as if to say “Mum, stop! You’re embarrassing me!”

I love you more than you’ll ever know. ❤

My Heart, My Life, My Everything

This little boy has no idea how much he means to me! He is such a cutie, with the best temperament ever! Always smiling and happy, I couldn’t ask for more. Max is energetic and charming. Just like his mummy, he makes friends wherever he goes 🙂 .

If I’m upset, I try not to show it, but I believe somehow, he can feel it, as he’ll hug and kiss me, which is always followed by a smile and something said in ‘baby language’.

He no longer needs his dummy/pacifier.

At nineteen months, he can put his shorts on by himself, and in general, is very independent.

Where has the time gone? He’s growing so fast. But he’ll always be my baby.

Max is truly my heart, my life, my everything.

The only male who will ever be able to control me (for now! 😀 ), I feel so blessed to have him. ❤

Yes, that’s right! Happy Father’s Day to me, as I am both parents to my son. I hope all the fathers (who are actively in their children’s lives) and step fathers have a wonderful day.
