Cry Me A River

Not sure how I feel about the video, but I really like this song by Justin Timberlake.

Cry Me A River

You were my sun, you were my earth
But you didn’t know all the ways I loved you, no
So you took a chance and made other plans
But I bet you didn’t think that they would come crashing down, no

All of these things people told me
Keep messin’ with my head
You should’ve picked honesty
Then you may not have blown it, yeah

You don’t have to say what you did
I already know, I found out from him
Now there’s just no chance
For you and me, there’ll never be
Don’t it make you sad about it?

You told me you loved me
Why did you leave me all alone?
Now you tell me you need me
When you call me on the phone

But girl I refuse you must have me confused
With some other guy, the bridges were burned
And now it’s your turn to cry
Cry me a river

I know that they say
That some things are better left unsaid
But it wasn’t like you only talked to him and you know it
Don’t act like you don’t know it

All of these things people told me
Keep messin’ with my head
You should’ve picked honesty
Then you may not have blown it, yeah

You don’t have to say what you did
I already know, I found out from him
Now there’s just no chance
For you and me, there’ll never be
Don’t it make you sad about it?

You told me you loved me
Why did you leave me all alone?
Now you tell me you need me
When you call me on the phone

Girl I refuse you must have me confused
With some other guy, the bridges were burned
Now it’s your turn to cry
So cry me a river

Go on and just
(Cry me a river, girl)
Go on and just
(Cry me a river)
Baby, go on and just
(Cry me a river, girl)
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Oh, oh
The damage is done
So I guess I be leavin’
Oh, oh
The damage is done
So I guess I be leavin’

Oh, oh
The damage is done
So I guess I be leavin’
Oh, oh
The damage is done
So I guess I be leavin’

You don’t have to say what you did
I already know, I found out from him
Now there’s just no chance
For you and me, there’ll never be

Don’t it make you sad about it
(Cry me a river)
Don’t it make you sad about it
(Cry me a river)
Don’t it make you sad about it
(Cry me a river)

Cry me a river, oh
Cry me a river, oh
(Cry me, cry me)
Cry me a river, oh
(Cry me, cry me)
Cry me a river, oh
(Cry me, cry me)

Cry me a river, oh
(Cry me, cry me)
Cry me a river, oh
(Cry me, cry me)
Cry me a river, oh
(Cry me, cry me)
Cry me a river, oh
(Cry me, cry me)

I Think We Need To Break Up

Male or female, cheating is wrong.

In this case, the husband’s responses did make me laugh. 🙂

I’ve never understood the point in cheating. And quite frankly, I never will.

Don’t Think I’m Not

Not something I would personally do, but each to their own… Still a good song, with a great beat. 🙂

“Don’t Think I’m Not”

Now, I don’t have to question
Where you were last night
‘Cause I already know what you will say
I already know you’ll lie

But I can’t be mad at ya
‘Cause there’s something that you don’t know
That when you’re gone I do my own thing
And I catch a bone while you’re dogging me

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not ’cause I’m out getting mine

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not ’cause I’m out getting mine

When I try to get your attention
You ignore me everytime
You were so caught up doing your dirt
That you didn’t notice mine

Well, I couldn’t put up with your scheming
And I couldn’t put up with your lies
They say two wrongs won’t make it right
But it’s suiting me just fine

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not, ’cause I’m out getting mine

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not ’cause I’m out getting mine

Don’t be surprised to know that sometimes women play the field
You may not believe it but it’s real
The game is so real, so real, so real
Oh, don’t think we won’t do it, when you’re out in the club

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not ’cause I’m out getting mine

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not ’cause I’m out getting mine

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not ’cause I’m out getting mine

When you’re out in the club, don’t think I’m not
Even when you’re out making love, don’t think I’m not
When you’re feeling good in somebody’s spot, getting hot, don’t stop
Just don’t think I’m not ’cause I’m out getting mine

He Wasn’t Man Enough

I’ve been listening to this song for years. It never gets old. Now I can relate to it.

Over to you Toni Braxton!

“He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me”

Who do you think I am?
Don’t you know that he was my man?
But I chose to let him go
So why do you act like I still care about him?

Looking at me like I’m hurt
When I’m the one who said
I didn’t want it to work
Don’t you forget I had him first

Whatcha’ thinking? Stop blaming me
He wasn’t man enough for me
If you don’t know, now here’s your chance
I’ve already had your man

Do you wonder just where he’s been, yeah
And I’d be worried about him
Now it’s time you know the truth
I think he’s just the man for you

What are you thinking?
Do you know about us back then?
Do you know I dumped your husband?
Girlfriend, I’m not thinking ’bout him

But you married him
Do you know I made him leave?
Do you know he begged to stay with me?
He wasn’t man enough for me, listen girl

Didn’t he tell you the truth?
If not, then why don’t you ask him?
And maybe you could be more into him
Instead of worrying ’bout me

And hopefully, you won’t find
All of the reasons why his love didn’t count
And why we couldn’t work it out

Whatcha’ thinking? Stop blaming me
He wasn’t man enough for me
If you don’t know, now here’s your chance
See I’ve already had your man

Do you wonder just where he’s been? yeah
And I’d be worried about him
Now it’s time you know the truth
I think he’s just the man for you
