Getting Dirty in the Garden

Max loves to run around freely in the garden, regardless of the weather.

It had rained the night before, and mummy had popped out to the back garden to feed the homeless cats. At this point, Max decided it was the perfect moment to dart outside to jump in the wet soil.

 

This went on for quite some time. He sat in it. He stomped in it.

He ran off when mummy tried to catch him, to bring him indoors to clean him up.

 

Max really did get rather dirty which of course, he found hilarious!

When mummy caught him, it didn’t go down too well…

Not wanting to see him upset, she let him loose again. Look at the huge grin on his face, and watch him go! ❤

Grumpy Munchkin

On this particular day, Max was not in a good mood. In fact he couldn’t even be bothered to play.

Ignoring mummy and even his favourite teddy.

He just sat there eating chips/crisps watching t.v.

Mummy thought maybe he was tired, and that he was possibly coming down with a cold.

Thankfully, his mood lifted that evening, and he was back to his usual, hyper cute self. ❤

A Battle That I Lost

So, today I fought a battle and lost miserably. Yes that’s right folks, Max won.

I went to the supermarket/grocery store, where Max spotted this:

Now after he threw the biggest tantrum after I said he could not have it – kicking items off the shelves and crying out real loud – I had the public and staff laughing at me. Why? Because the only way for me to get out of such a situation was to purchase the thing.

Thomas the Tank Engine is evil! 😀

I’m sure Bridgette sympathises with me!

By the end of it all, I needed this:

I am NEVER taking this child to get groceries with me again!

Wakey Wakey!

Yes folks, this is Max sitting on my head.

Shouting “Wakey wakey!”, this is my wake up call most mornings – way before we need to get out of bed. Even at the weekends, when I just want and need the longest lie-in ever known to mankind.

If I don’t move (because let’s face it, running around after him wears me out), he has pulled my eye lids open, put his finger in my ear and/or up my nose, starts jumping up and down on the bed – the list is endless. Not to mention in a demanding tone “Get up mummy! Juice!”. And added more recently “Where’s Thomas bag?”.

So there I am, zombie like for the rest of the morning, whilst he is hyper, bouncing off the walls.

I’m certainly not complaining. His giggles are so worth it. ❤
