So… this is one of the reasons I’ve been so busy, and haven’t had much time to write. What with being a single mother, I am surprised that I manage to do all I do! (I am not looking for praise, I’m just saying 🙂 ).
I don’t think the picture is very clear; here are thirteen certificates I achieved in nine days. I had to cram so much information into my already overcrowded brain, and on top of this, I had to complete thirty tests to achieve these.
1. EduCare – Effective Safeguarding Practice from the Pre-School Learning Alliance
2. EduCare – NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children), Child Neglect
3. Successful Budgeting in your Early Years Setting, Level 2 from the Pre-School Alliance
4. Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) reforms Guidance from the Pre-School Alliance
5. EduCare – Promoting Positive Behaviour from the Pre-School Alliance
6. Edu-Care – Characteristics of Effective Leaders from the Pre-School Alliance
7. EduCare – NSPCCÂ (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children), Children’s Rights
8. EduCare – Reflective Practice in the Early Years from the Pre-School Alliance
9. EduCare –Â NSPCCÂ (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children), Safer Recruitment
10. EduCare – Managing your Ofsted Inspection from the Pre-School Alliance
11. Latest EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Guidance to support the Framework, Level 2Â from the Pre-School Alliance
12. The role of Trustees in Delivering the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), Level 2Â from the Pre-School Alliance
13. EduCare – Setting up your Childminding Service from the Pre-School Alliance
I can now add these to my CV/resume, along with my other educational achievements: G.C.S.E.’s, A-Levels, Degree and Journalism (short course). I had originally decided not to study again, but was offered this opportunity when I asked to volunteer at my son’s Pre-School. Considering I’ve still not decided where Max and I will reside permanently in the US, at least I will be able to take these and my work experiences with me, wherever I go.
Now I have the ‘study-bug’, next on my list is to find the time to learn Spanish!
