1950’s Vintage Enthusiast

Dear all,

I would like your opinion on something, please.

As a 1950’s vintage enthusiast, should I incorporate my style into this already ‘all-over-the-place’ blog, or should I create another? Perhaps it would be better to separate the two? I don’t know! I was told I was ugly, useless, worthless, and that nobody would want me for so long, I needed to overhaul my image, which I started a year go after leaving my abusive ex-husband two years prior.

Bear in mind, some will be cheeky, as I like burlesque and pin-up style shoots, but none will be nude. No way!

I look forward to your feedback.

Much love ❤

A little Explanation For You

Hello All,

I just wanted to apologise and explain why I have slowed down on reading your posts.

The bottom line is, I have been extremely busy.

I have started modelling again. This time Pin Up shoots. I have found a brilliant photographer, who I felt completely happy and comfortable with straight away. I am not quite comfortable with lingerie shoots yet – I am still trying to build my confidence.

Whilst I do not condone war, I am a huge supporter of the British and American Military. (If I could get my hands on a US Marine, I would never let him go! Drool… 😀 ). I have been attending a couple of units as often as I can in the evenings, which is once or twice each week, talking to the soldiers and potential recruits, dressed in my new look – 1950’s vintage style pin-up outfits. I wasn’t asked to do it, and I don’t get paid for it. I do it because I want to. I do it because I am grateful for our Military, as unfortunately, freedom is not free.

With these, as well as raising my son on my own, my animal advocacy work (which again, I do for free), helping out voluntarily at my son’s pre-school, keeping up with my blog, learning Spanish, plus other stuff, I try to read as many of your blogs/posts as possible.

Please bear with me. It will all slow down soon – I hope! Or I will learn to manage my time better. But I don’t think I can cope with less than four hours of sleep a night, which is pretty much all I am left with after I fit everything in. I have dark circles around my eyes! Thank God for make up! I was so short on time a couple of days ago, I exercised whilst waist training with my corset on. As a result, I was left with lacerations and welts along the front of my torso. Don’t think I’ll be trying that again. 😀

I felt I needed to let you know what was going on, so you didn’t think I was ignoring you.

Many thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.

Much love. ❤
