Yes folks, this is Max’s advent calender, which currently stands empty from last week.
Although mummy tried to explain to him, that the first piece of chocolate should not be eaten until today (December 1st), then one every day thereafter until Christmas Eve, he insisted upon opening it.
Not only that, he ate the WHOLE lot in about ten seconds flat. “Mmm, nice Thomas chocolate mummy!”.
Now she has to find another one… 🙂
So, today I fought a battle and lost miserably. Yes that’s right folks, Max won.
I went to the supermarket/grocery store, where Max spotted this:
Now after he threw the biggest tantrum after I said he could not have it – kicking items off the shelves and crying out real loud – I had the public and staff laughing at me. Why? Because the only way for me to get out of such a situation was to purchase the thing.
Thomas the Tank Engine is evil! 😀

By the end of it all, I needed this:
I am NEVER taking this child to get groceries with me again!
And breathe…
Max has always loved the rain, but more so now. Yes, that’s right – that is a Thomas the Tank Engine umbrella, along with matching wellies. He wanted to bring his Thomas bag to pre-school, but mummy said he could bring it another time, as they were running late.
By the time Max arrived at pre-school, he was soaking wet from jumping in every single puddle he came across. Grinning to himself, he was highly amused, but mummy wasn’t. Luckily, she always keeps an extra set of clothes there. 🙂

When in the UK or the US, Max has programmes he loves to watch. This means mummy is not allowed to touch the remote. His favourite in the UK is Thomas & Friends. He demanded this bag when he saw it, which he insists upon sleeping with too.
Max telling mummy he is going to bed with the bag, whether she agrees with him or not, because he loves Thomas.
Being told he can have Thomas in the morning, but he cannot sleep with the bag in the bed, he decided the best thing to do was to hug it tighter…
After mummy gives up, and tells him he could sleep with the bag, he casts her a look as if to say “I knew that anyway!”. ❤
