War would end if the dead could return.
Stanley Baldwin (1867-1947)
So true…
More than an end to war, we want the end to the beginning of all wars.
Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945)
Could not have said it better myself.
So true.

When you are at peace with yourself, peace transcends you.
But when you are at war with yourself, war transcends you.
By nature more, than by design.

Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of every military member who died protecting it.

Armistice Day / Memorial Day / Remembrance Day ~ November 11th.
Hostilities formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. However I, like many, believe this day now represents our Military from past to present; from the fallen (RIP) to current veterans.
Every day for the month of November, I shall be publishing one post a day at 11:00 (GMT), as a mark of respect and gratitude for our Military (British and American).
The pairings of images have been matched by Casey from Just War Things, who himself spent 6 years in the US Army, and served 15 months in Baghdad. His blog has many more images.
